Twenty‑nine members of the Women of Note Choir, joined by family and friends, are eagerly preparing for their 2026 European tour. The Choir will bring its music to Prague, Vienna, Lake Bled and Salzburg. A special highlight will be a musical exchange with the Brezovica Women’s Choir in Lake Bled: Women of Note are learning a Slovenian folk song to perform together, while their hosts are learning Waltzing Matilda.
In Salzburg, the Choir will appear at the Cantus MM International Music & Culture Festival. Their touring repertoire blends works by celebrated composers with traditional and popular favourites, drawing on Australian, European, Mexican and American influences. Along the way, the Choir will also enjoy discovering many of Europe’s most beautiful and fascinating places.
Women of Note is proudly led by conductor Anne Begg, with Peter Butler at the piano.
